General Laborer Position

Our Elmsdale treating facility plays a vital role in Goodfellow's success in Atlantic Canada. As a General Laborer, you'll work alongside treatment plant operators to load and unload cylinders and as well as keeping our lumber yard organized.

Previous Treating Plant experience (an asset) Experience in a lumber yard or building materials environment (preferred) Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced team setting Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written) Safety-conscious mindset Willingness to work outdoors & indoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions Physical capability to perform the job duties Availability for overtime

Your Roles:

Tagging & Bagging Lumber Ability to use pneumatic tools correctly and in a safe manner Assisting the treater with loading and unloading charges Working outdoors in the lumber yard when needed Follow proper procedures for the treating plant Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the warehouse and production areas
