Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated
General Labourer
to join our team and supportshallow utility installation
. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and eager to learn. This position offers valuable hands-on experience and opportunities for growth within the construction industry.Responsibilities
Assist crews with the installation of shallow utilities for power and telecommunications. Perform general labour duties such as digging, trenching, backfilling, and site cleanup. Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment. Operate hand tools and small equipment safely and efficiently. Follow directions from supervisors and foremen to complete assigned tasks. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
Valid driver's license
with a clean driving record (Class 1 or 3 an asset). Reliable transportation to and from work sites. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive team attitude. Construction or shallow utility experience is an asset butnot required
. Safety certifications such asFirst Aid, WHMIS, and Ground Disturbance
are considered assets.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00-$22.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
