Fireside Minerals Ltd. is a resource company committed to responsible mining and mineral development focusing on barite. We are currently seeking individuals for the position of: GENERAL LABOURER. Reporting to the MINE MANAGER.
Responsibilities: ? Working in the mill when other employees are taking breaks. Must be physically fit and able to pass a respirator fit test. Very Physical Work for 6-12 hours per day ? Maintaining the camp. Ensuring water is being supplied to all cabins from well. Holding tanks are clean and maintained to code. ? Ensuring camp is kept in clean condition. Garbage is in bins, recycling cleaned out, etc. ? Pressure washing heavy equipment and trucks ? Cleaning of kitchen and camp bathroom. ? MUST HAVE DRIVERS LICENCE- Class 5 Minimum ? Driving into town for deliveries of parts and supplies ? Some operation of Forklift/Loader/Skid Steer once trained. ? Must be willing to work day and night shift. ? Must be willing to work 12 hour days ? Shift Schedule is 24 days on 17 days off Qualifications:
? Valid driver?s license ? Valid First Aid (Minimum Emergency OFA 1) ? Operating Heavy Equipment an asset ? Strong interpersonal skills ? Ability to work independently and as part of a team ? Minimum of 3+ years? experience in a remote camp situation ?
