The Terminal

The Crosby Liquid Bulk Terminal (CLBT) in Saint John, New Brunswick, is a state-of-the-art, food-grade liquid storage and handling facility that serves as a central hub for the logistics, blending, and transloading of liquid ingredients. Located on the Port of Saint John as the

longest lease holder for over 50 years

, we have a range of tanks designed for food-industry liquids, multimodal transport capabilities including truck, rail, and port access, and specialized services such as heating, blending, and vessel loading. The CLBT enables efficient, safe, and high-quality handling of a wide variety of products. The terminal emphasizes

Summary

We are seeking a highly

reliable

and

safety-focused General Labourer

to join our team at the Crosby Liquid Bulk Terminal (320 Gateway Street, Saint John, NB). This is an impactful, hands-on role perfect for someone looking for

The Core of the Role: Beyond General Labour

You will be the backbone of our liquid bulk handling operations. This position offers a unique mix of responsibilities:

Bulk Cargo Handling:

Safely and efficiently

load and unload

rail cars, flexi containers, and large vessels, ensuring meticulous adherence to quality and food-grade standards.

Operational Maintenance & Cleaning:

Become an expert in terminal hygiene.

Regularly clean

and sanitize essential equipment like tanks, pumps, and hoses.

Facility Support:

Get hands-on with general maintenance, which includes basic

welding

,

pipefitting

, tracing lines, and all-season outdoor duties like lawn care and snow removal.

Safety Champion:

Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including understanding shut-off valve procedures and the critical processes for confined spaces.

What You Bring

Physical Capability:

You are physically capable of performing manual labour, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods, in both indoor and outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.

Work Ethic:

You are

dependable, punctual, and flexible

to work as operational demands require.

Technical Aptitude:

Basic knowledge of welding, pipefitting, and the safe use of small tools is strongly preferred. Experience in a liquid bulk terminal or related industry is a plus!
