Responsibilities & Job Duties

• Actively learns and obtains job-related information via observation and direction from supervision.
• Vacuum slurry and remove concrete when required with hand removal, handcarts, machine removal and/or using other methods.
• Maintain equipment and/or vehicles clean, report equipment needs and repairs to Manager.
• Responsible for operating a variety of concrete saws for exterior and interior construction projects
• Collaborates with supervision to prioritize, organize, accomplish work tasks, and meet both daily and weekly schedules.
• Have a good understanding of tools and materials on-site, including proper use and maintenance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Class 5 license and own means of transportation is required
• Experience driving a trailer would be an asset
• Basic mechanical skills are ideal
• Experience with miscellaneous concrete cutting helpful but not required
• Ensure safety procedures are followed
• Be self-motivated and dependable

Looking for a Dedicated Individual who is willing to put in the time and effort to learn how to run a Diesel Powered Slabsaw, Core Drill and Wall Saw and perform the above mentioned duties. Will need to be an extremely timely person, who is Punctual and who is not afraid of hard work and steep learning curves! You may be an excellent fit for this position if you have experience with but not limited to: Concrete, Labourer, construction, construction Labourer, general Labourer, Concrete finishing, and concrete polishing.
