Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team. This role is essential in supporting various warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, and maintaining a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in materials handling, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.

Duties

Operating the saw at the end of a manufacturing line

Stacking final product onto pallets

Capable of reading a tape measure and calipers

Able to fill out production sheet properly based on production made

Must be dependable, hardworking, able to take direction well, work well in a fast-paced environment and pay attention to details

Ability to safety operate machinery (shredder, grinder, forklift)

Ensure production of quality products, by performing quality control protocols

Basic math skills

Good communication skills

Good organizational skills

Ability to work with others in a team setting

Positive record of safety, quality, productivity, attendance and teamwork

Maintain a clean work environment and comply with work place safety regulations

Ability to stand for extended periods

Must have reliable transportation

Forklift experience/valid license

Ability to work shift work- 8 hr day/afternoon

PPE required: Steel toed CSA safety shoes

Qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse operations or related fields such as construction or manufacturing. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, shredder and grinder. Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of materials handling techniques. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for effective inventory control. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts.
