Job Description

Adecco is currently seeking a General Labourer to join our client\'s manufacturing team in Belleville. As a General Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the production process. Your responsibilities will include machine set up, product manufacturing, quality control, equipment maintenance, and material handling.

Location: Belleville, Canada
Salary: $19 per hour
Shifts: 2 week MAD rotation - Monday to Friday 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am.
Employment Type: Full Time

Detailed :

Perform machine set up and operate manufacturing equipment.

Produce products according to specifications and production schedule.

Neatly stack finished products and discard defective items.

Identify and document quality issues, noting irregularities and product problems.

Adjust machine controls during product changeovers and quality issues.

Trim excess material from products using safety knives.

Inform supervisors of machinery and equipment issues and communicate information to maintenance teams.

Hand bomb material into trailers for transportation.

Ensure compliance with legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

Prior factory or warehousing experience is required.

Ability to pass a mandatory criminal background check.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for 8-hour shifts, and perform bending, twisting, and reaching tasks.

Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes.

Completion of Secondary School or equivalent (or equivalent work experience).

Must provide two work-related references.

Comfortable with basic math and documentation.

Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
