DAYSHIFT - 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday for 40 hours per week"ON BUS ROUTE"We are currently seeking individuals who have a passion for Electronics to work in our Cambridge, Ontario Recycling facility and thrive working in a fast-paced environment of change.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESRecycling - General Electronics Disassembler and/or Sorter: Sorter Opportunity:
- Lift and sort various streams of electronics which vary in size and weight onto skids and into boxes.
- Receive, sort, inspect, and qualify electronic waste according to specifications.
- Material handling - use of pump trucks
- Use of Computer to update Operations program
- Dismantle product. (eg: Desktop Computers, satellite receivers etc.)
- Use hand tools to remove components
- Use of Computer to capture and enter product numbers into program
- Material handling - use of pump trucks
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Oral and written English to read instructions and specification sheets
- General Computer knowledge to utilize computer program(s).
- Electronic Hobbyist or formal schooling with electronics/computers a bonus
- Understand various components of computers/electronics a bonus
- Safety shoes; safety glasses; provided shirt, hearing protection, gloves
