Most of the available vehicle mats on the market don't offer the kind of protection needed because they are flat and universal-fit, they shift and expose areas that succumb to salt stains and debris. Uniquely TuxMat offers vehicle-specific car mats, covering the vertical walls, the largest possible carpeted area. We laser scan vehicles at our TuxMat facility in Canada.

Position Overview

The General Labour - Warehouse/Maintenance role is a hands-on position that supports both facility upkeep and day-to-day operational needs. This individual helps ensure the workspace remains clean, organized, and efficient while assisting with light warehouse or production-related tasks when needed. The role is ideal for someone reliable, adaptable, and comfortable switching between maintenance, cleaning, and general support duties.

Key Responsibilities

Facility & Maintenance Support

Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning, minor repairs, waste disposal, and upkeep of shared spaces (office, lunchroom, restrooms, etc.). Assist with basic building or equipment maintenance -- including assembling shelves, fixing light fixtures, or performing minor touch-ups. Ensure exterior areas (parking lot, entrances, loading docks) remain tidy and safe. Refill and restock cleaning and maintenance supplies as needed.

Operational Support

Assist with organizing materials or products when required. Support light packaging, labeling, or kit preparation tasks during busy periods. Help move products or supplies between departments as needed (no heavy machine operation required). Follow safe handling and housekeeping practices to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.

Safety & Team Collaboration

Comply with all workplace safety standards and report hazards or maintenance issues promptly. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to prioritize daily tasks. Participate in periodic safety checks or facility inspections.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in maintenance, janitorial, or light warehouse work is an asset. Comfortable using hand tools and performing light physical labour (lifting up to 40 lbs). Dependable, proactive, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude. Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.

Work Environment

Primarily indoors in a clean warehouse or facility environment. Mix of physical tasks and light maintenance or support duties. Occasional exposure to dust, cleaning products, and general warehouse activity.
