ABOUT CMP AUTOMATION:

CMP Automation is a medium-sized, vertically integrated manufacturer of turnkey automation equipment, providing custom manufacturing automation solutions to various industries. Since 1988, we have primarily supplied the automotive industry, in North America and overseas, specializing in small-diameter tubing automation.

CMP's strong team of designers and machine builders has a long history in the specialized field of small-diameter tube bending as well as broader automation. With our vertically integrated business model, CMP has become an industry leader in several additional areas of specialization. These include Automotive Seat Assembly Pallets and Nylon Tube Automation for the EV market.

MAJOR DUTIES:

Participate in the completion of various support tasks assigned by Toolroom Manger

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Paint equipment (using brushes, rollers, spraying equipment, etc.) Assist with bench assembly and floor assembly of simple tooling Deburr machined components parts as required Operate cut-off saws Assist with Shipping & Receiving (moving goods to and from shelves) Assist with Warehousing duties, as required Assist with simple preventive maintenance duties on production machinery Clean machine shops and assembly areas when required Ensure good housekeeping practices Adhere to all CMP Health and Safety rules and procedures. Valid Driver's License to be able to do drop-offs and pickups. Able to drive company van or pick-up truck (handling driving with a trailer is an asset.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Grade 12 education.

Experience:

One to two years in related industries.
