About Us
At Serpa Steel, we specialize in custom fabrication and metalwork. We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a General Labour / Helping Hand. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, supporting shop operations, and contributing to a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist fabricators and shop staff with daily tasks Move, organize, and prepare materials for projects Operate machinery, power tools, and other shop equipment (training provided) Perform basic cleaning and maintenance around the shop Help with shipping, receiving, and general shop organization Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Qualifications
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labour Reliable and punctual Positive attitude and team-oriented Previous experience in a shop or construction environment (an asset but not required)
