This job is for you.Come and be part of a team of powder coaters in a well-known manufacturing company in Brantford, Ontario. As a coater, you will be applying powder coating to steel using a spray gun once any excess water is removed. You will be responsible for maintaining your spray gun for any repairs or reporting defects when needed. Having a keen eye for recognizing colour changes will be important in this role. You can advance by gaining new skills and working in other departments or by being promoted into a leadership role.Job Title: General Labour

What will you be doing:
\xef\x82\xa7 Dry excess water off of parts
\xef\x82\xa7 Apply accurate amount of powder coating using a spray gun
\xef\x82\xa7 Sand and rework parts to acceptable quality when there is any rework
\xef\x82\xa7 Maintain coating guns daily
\xef\x82\xa7 Repair coating guns when needed
\xef\x82\xa7 Report defects in parts or equipment
\xef\x82\xa7 Participate in colour change process including cleaning the booth
\xef\x82\xa7 Recognize and troubleshoot problems and adjust accordingly
\xef\x82\xa7 Follow the coating department\'s break times
\xef\x82\xa7 Maintain a clean coating area
\xef\x82\xa7 Perform other duties as requiredQualifications
