CEDA is looking to hire a General Labourer to join our team based out of our Bonnyville, AB shop. Candidates must be local to the Bonnyville area. What we offer:

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance and support to the Tradespeople
• Assist with basic maintenance and repairs
• Maintaining safe work practices
• Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation
• Work as part of a team and follow direction from supervision
• Leave the job site in better condition that when we got there
• Challenge your eye for detail, practice what we preach. Take your time, get the job done right the first time and safely every time

Role Specifications:

• 2+ years of pipefitter labour experience is an asset
• Valid Class 5 licence (non GDL) with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
• Experience operating a Skidsteer, Telehandler / or Zoom Boom and Loader is an asset
• The following tickets are required: H2S Alive and CSO
• These certificates would be considered and asset: Confined Space - Entry & Monitor, CSTS-09, Fall Protection & Mobile Elevated Work Platform
• Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Skills:

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• You are safety focused when it comes to people and equipment
• Prior experience working at heights with the use of special fall restraint equipment
• Perform physically demanding work including climbing multiple flights of stairs and carrying equipment (able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis)
• Experience and comfort with confined spaces such as a small vessel/tank or trench
• Ability to work well in both independent and team environments and manage multiple tasks while working under minimal supervision
