Responsibilities

Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials to ensure a safe working environment. Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment around the job site efficiently. Support skilled tradespeople by holding tools, mixing materials, or performing basic tasks as directed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and productivity. Follow safety protocols diligently, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and reporting hazards immediately. Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision while adhering to safety standards. Assist with site inspections and help ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations. Contribute to the setup and takedown of scaffolding, ladders, and temporary structures as needed.

Requirements

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, bending, and climbing. Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions carefully. Basic understanding of construction sites or previous experience is a plus but not required--training will be provided! Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols. Reliable transportation to job sites; punctuality is essential. Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with hand tools or previous construction experience; however, enthusiasm and a proactive mindset are most important.
