Westfine Meats Inc. is currently hiring a Barn Worker/General Laborer at our meat processing plant. This position works Monday - Friday & weekends as needed. Shift end times may vary.

Job Opportunities

Receiving and Unloading Lambs Assisting with moving lambs Accurate record keeping and data enter Sorting into appropriate receiving pens Ensuring humane and safe handling Working outdoors and in barn area Cleaning and maintenance Other duties assigned by supervisor or manager

Requirements

Attention to detail Punctual and reliable Physically fit (able to lift 50 lbs) Ability to work in varied conditions which may include heat, cold, loud noise, with use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) Enjoy working on a team No formal education required

Assets

Previous experience working with animal handling, feedlot industry (Preferred not required) Education experience in agriculture Willing to learn
