General Laborer

We are looking for General Laborers at our Oakbank Site for day and evening shifts. The General Laborer plays a key part in production by maintaining a continuous supply of mix to the line, and ensuring high quality standards, while meeting safety requirements.

JOB SUMMARY:

Operate a forklift to feed the plant (peat, perlite, vermiculite and wood fibers); Keep work area clean and maintain safety standards; Assure that the pallets are correctly placed and in good order; Maintain equipment and reduce waste during production; Follow the plant schedule to maintain efficient operations.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Experience operating a forklift preferred; Physically capable of lifting 55 lbs repeatedly; Committed to working safely and following a production schedule; You are punctual, reliable, with a positive attitude and like team work.

WORKING CONDITIONS :
