Job Description
T. A. Morrison & Co. Inc. (TAMCO) is a manufacturer of quality dampers and air control products. We are looking for a motivated, organized, and dedicated individual to join our team as a General Labour.
Assembly Line General Labour positions are responsible for working on the assembly line and producing our product based on specifications and drawings. The general laborer will perform repetitive tasks throughout a variety of stations to ensure the completion of the product from start to finish.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain a Safe work environment. Perform other labouring and elemental activities. Use of manual chop saw, various pneumatic tools, and hand tools to prepare and assemble the finished product. Repetitive movements - bending, twisting, lifting upto 50 lbs. Read production documents/drawings to ensure that parts are correctly chosen and applied to the assembly process. Attention to detail and comprehension of English language to interpret assembly information accurately. Operation of forklift and/or lift truck and electric pallet jack as required. Check the quality of the work performed. Ensure 5S is maintained at your workstation. Maintain a Safe work environment. Perform other labouring and elemental activities.
REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous work experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred. Work along side your team to lead by example. Ability to lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for extended periods. Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to follow basic directions.
