Position Title: General LaborerPosition Type: Temporary - Full-Time \xe2\x80\x8bPosition Location: McCain FarmsGrade:Requisition ID: 31143General Laborer \xe2\x80\x93 McCain FarmsMcCain Farms, a division of McCain Produce Inc., is looking for Temporary General Laborers in multiple locations in Carleton County, NB location to assist with labor and harvesting duties.DUTIES:Follow all safety requirementsMaterial handling of 25-50lbs.Work in inclement weatherRemoval of rocks and debris from loads of potatoes.Daily clean upStanding in one place for long periods of time, orWalking distances dailyTrouble shoot and assist with maintenance of equipment as required.Relay information to other Team membersWorking in a fast-paced team environmentParticipate in Team meetings, as required.All additional duties as they become assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:Must possess a good safety record and demonstrate \xe2\x80\x98safety first\xe2\x80\x99 on a continual basis.Ability to work well with supervision and other employeesTeam player with excellent attendanceHighly motivated, observant with good initiative and a positive attitude.Good verbal and written communication skills.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment adapting to and embracing change as it occurs.Willing to work weekends and long hours.Must be self-motivatedAble to complete assignments with minimal supervision.High School students aged 16 and above may be considered for outside school hoursWage is $17.50/hrMcCain Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
