P2: 7/7 1900-0700 rotational shift
Responsibilities for General Hospital Security Guard
- Greet visitors, check ID, and give directions
- Control access at doors and gates (staff, visitors, contractors)
- Do regular patrols inside and outside
- Keep a visible presence to deter unwanted activity
- Respond to alarms and emergencies (fire, medical, security)
- Give first aid if trained and call/coordinate with emergency services
- Use de-escalation; remove/trespass unauthorized or loitering individuals
- Watch cameras/alarms and use the radio to communicate
- Write clear daily logs and incident reports
- Protect people, property, and assets by following site rules
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid Manitoba security license
- First aid certification an asset
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
- Two-way radio experience
