Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive General Helper to join our team. In this role, you will support various operational tasks to ensure smooth and efficient workflow within our facility. As a General Helper, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a clean and organized work environment while assisting team members in their daily activities.

Responsibilities

Assist with loading and unloading materials and products. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste. Support team members with various tasks as needed, including assembly, packaging, or inventory management. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to the role. Work is mobile and outside, In and around Vancouver Island and the Mainland.

Skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Good communication skills for effective teamwork. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting (50lbs) and moving items as necessary. Basic problem-solving skills to address minor issues that may arise during daily operations. Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities throughout the day. Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
