Hiring Unit:
Student Housing & Hospitality Services
Under the direction of the Supervisor, Dining Hall or Chef, performs tasks required to maintain the cleanliness of cooking utensils and equipment and the kitchen area.
Qualifications Required
- High School Leaving Diploma.
- Three (3) months related experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to communicate, read and write English and French.
Knowledge of French and English. McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing.
Additional Information
Temporary part-time position for the period August 19, 2023 to April 30, 2024. Work hours and location are variable.
Hourly salary:
$22.33/hour
Hours of work:
25 hours/week (part-time) day, evening, night and/or weekend schedules from Sunday to Saturday, according to needs.
Location:
Bishop Mountain Hall/Royal Victoria College/Douglas Hall, as per need.
