We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our Maintenance Department and help keep our shops looking and operating their best. As a Handyman, you will play a key role in the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of our collision repair facilities. This is a mobile position that will involve travelling to various shop locations throughout Greater Vancouver. From painting and small repairs to general facility upkeep, you'll be the go-to person for ensuring our shops remain safe, functional, and looking sharp.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance and repairs at multiple shop locations Carry out interior and exterior painting of buildings and work areas Complete basic carpentry, drywall, and minor plumbing or electrical repairs Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs Assist with furniture, fixture, and equipment repairs or installations Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicle in good condition Respond to urgent repair requests in a timely manner Follow company safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications
Proven experience as a handyman, maintenance worker, or similar role Basic knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Good physical condition and ability to lift/move heavy objects as needed Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Flexibility to travel daily within the Greater Vancouver area
