Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring that properties are well-maintained and functional. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. The Handy Man will be responsible for performing various repair and maintenance tasks, both indoors and outdoors for commercial and residential properties, while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Conduct maintenance repairs on residential and commercial properties. Perform minor plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing fixtures. Handle basic electrical work including changing light fixtures, outlets, and switches. Assemble furniture and equipment as needed. Repair drywall, paint walls, and perform general carpentry work. Maintain landscaping by performing tasks such as lawn care, trimming bushes, and planting flowers. Respond promptly to service requests on Slack Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working order. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Proficient in basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently. Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects when necessary.
