You as a General Foreperson will:
Be a working foreperson while leading trade staff to complete jobsite related projects
Supervise own force craft labour and continue to mentor and develop the workforce as required
Oversee and make decisions related to the performance of work related to scheduling, delivery logistics, quality control and trade employee staffing levels
Oversee work among assigned trades to promote a coordinated project operation
Work closely with Superintendents to resolve local area problems regarding procedures, precedence, design clarifications, adequate labour & equipment schedule
Liaise with other project subcontractors to assist with material movement, scope execution and coordination
Assist with the overall site safety and quality programs as required and ensure trade employees/subcontractors comply with standards and all applicable safety codes, regulations and jobsite security
Complete and submit time sheets, daily construction reports and required safety paperwork daily
Participate in interviews and recommend hires for trades staff
Is this role right for you?
Extensive experience (8+ years) in ICI construction and self perform concrete operations
Valid fall protection certificate
Valid PEWP ticket
