Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced General Supervisor to not just oversee construction projects, but also be on the tools and ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a solid understanding of construction processes, including blueprint reading and quality control. As a General Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in managing teams, coordinating tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews to ensure project milestones are met. Read and interpret blueprints, and project plans to effectively guide the construction process. Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards throughout the construction process. Manage budgeting for projects, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise. Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, to ensure seamless project execution. Train and mentor team members in best practices for safety and efficiency on the job site.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry is essential. Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and budgeting practices. Ability to read and understand complex blueprints is required. Experience with quality control processes in construction environments is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to effectively lead teams and liaise with clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
