We are a family owned and operated purebred Simmental operation. We are located at Clavet, which is 15 minutes from Saskatoon. We are looking for someone to join us long term in the day to day activities of the farm. 40-60 hrs per week. Class 1 would be an asset, but not required. Looking for someone to start immediately. Wage dependent on experience, $20-$35per hr. We are willing to train the right individual. The winter months involve lots of hours driving tractor to feed and checking pens. No accommodations available, but we can help you find a place.
Duties Include:
-general farm maintenance
-general mechanical skills
-feeding with a bale processor and silage wagon
-halter breaking
-cutting/baling hay
-identifying and treating sick cattle
-fencing
-trucking grain
-hauling bales
-running other miscellaneous grain farming equipment
Must Have:
-a reliable vehicle
-strong work ethic
-able to trouble shoot problems
-previous experience with cattle and equipment
-class 1 would be an asset
-speak fluent english

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
