JOB SUMMARY

The farm work will be physically demanding and labour intensive.


We offer certification opportunities and career advancement. We are also willing to train workers who have the desire to learn. Evening and weekend hours vary during our busy seasons. Overtime as required. Work hours will change based on seasonal requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform general farm duties Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment Handling animals and monitoring animal health Feeding animals, cutting, raking and baling hay Maintain work records and logs This role requires flexibility in work and adaptability, other duties may be assigned

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certifications:

No formal education is required A valid G drivers licence

Skills:

Basic farm/agricultural knowledge is required. No formal education is required. Must be comfortable around cattle. 1 year experience with cattle doing similar work. Less than 1 year is fine if comfortable around cattle. We provide comprehensive training where those with limited experience are successful.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending. Physically Demanding Work is performed in a combination of environments. This position may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odours.


Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week

Schedule:

8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

Bradford West Gwillimbury, ON L3Z 3M5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)


Work Location: In person, On-site, Outdoors.
