The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.Position OverviewResponsible for using a variety of diagnostic imaging equipment to produce images of tissues, organs, bones and vessels of the body. Must also assist Radiologists and other physicians in performing central line or pacemaker insertions, fluoroscopic procedures, and O.R. Procedures.Experience

  • Previous experience preferred - especially in a hospital setting.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Diagnostic Imaging Technology.
Certification/Licensure/Registration
  • Currently registered with or eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiology Technologists (CAMRT).
Qualifications and Skills
  • Knowledge and experience using the AGFA Radiology Information System (RIS) and the AGFA PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) is preferred.
  • Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skill are essential.
  • Must be able to demonstrate problem-solving and critical analysis skills.
