Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing high-quality dental care, with a focus on patient comfort and satisfaction. This role involves diagnosing and treating dental issues, educating patients on oral health, and collaborating with a team of dental professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns. Provide preventive care and education to patients regarding oral hygiene practices. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems such as Akitu One. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations within the practice. Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Skills

Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry. Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for restorative procedures is a plus. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
