Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice 1 day per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality dental care and a passion for improving patient health. This role involves diagnosing and treating various dental conditions, performing preventive care, and educating patients on oral health practices. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our dedicated team to ensure a positive experience for all patients.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments to diagnose oral health issues. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients. Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health regulations. Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid dental license to practice dentistry. Experience in a dental office setting is preferred; familiarity with medical terminology is a plus. Proficiency in using dental software systems such Exceldent Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating independence when necessary.
