The Faculty of Dentistry, Dalhousie University, is seeking applications for a full-time, career-stream General Dentist at the rank of instructor.
The position will require a significant amount of clinical teaching in the undergraduate dental program, with the possibility of the addition of didactic and preclinical teaching responsibilities; one day per week may be set aside for clinical private practice. Additional expectations include participation in continuing education and extracurricular involvement, including Faculty committees.
Candidates must have successfully completed their National Dental Examining Board of Canada examinations and be eligible for licensure by the Provincial Dental Board of Nova Scotia. Preference will be given to candidates who have substantial experience in general dental practice and those who have preclinical or clinical teaching experience. The Faculty does not offer academic licensure. Salary will be commensurate with the successful candidate\'s qualifications, experience and achievements.
