Our company is growing and we are looking to add a
general construction labourer or 1st year apprentice carpenter
to our team of passionate, well-educated craftspeople. At Frontera, we share a love for building and a curiosity for progressing our trade that extends well beyond the work site. Our team consists of highly skilled carpenters proficient in large-scale, character home renovations and new construction. We specialize in finish carpentry and employ innovative building techniques, including passive house and net-zero construction methods.
We are a boutique firm with a mission to construct and restore architecturally designed residences in both the existing and new construction sectors of our industry, while guiding homeowners through a customer-centric homebuilding experience. We use construction to inspire and implement solutions to environmental and housing challenges. If this resonates with you, we'd love to hear from you!
As a general labourer or first year apprentice, you'll help keep job sites running smoothly--handling materials, assisting carpenters, setting up tools, cleaning and organizing work areas, and supporting all aspects of the build. This is a great opportunity to learn the trade, gain hands-on experience, and grow into an apprenticeship role. You will report to the Lead Carpenter and Site Superintendent and collaborate with the broader team to bring projects to life.
