We are seeking an experienced

General Construction Foreman

with carpentry skills to join our growing team. This role is hands-on, combining supervisory responsibilities with on-site work. The Foreman will oversee small projects independently and support Site Superintendents on medium-sized projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency at every stage.

Key Responsibilities



Manage and support small projects independently, or assist Site Superintendents on larger projects Perform carpentry and general labour tasks as required on-site Coordinate with subcontractors, trades, and other RJS team members Communicate project progress to Project Managers and Site Superintendents Maintain accurate project documentation through Procore Ensure compliance with construction standards, safety regulations, and company policies Foster teamwork and positive problem-solving on site

Qualifications



Minimum 5 years of experience as a Foreman with a general contractor (required) Proven experience on small to medium-sized commercial, institutional, and light industrial projects Strong knowledge of BC construction methods, codes, and documents Ability to read and interpret scopes of work, drawings, schedules, and contract documents Skilled in safety practices, team leadership, and project execution Organized, adaptable, and proactive in solving challenges Basic computer skills including Outlook; Procore experience preferred Reliable vehicle for transportation to and from job sites Must be able to provide a satisfactory criminal record check. Only results relevant to the role will be considered
