Overview
We are seeking skilled Carpenters to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, demonstrating proficiency with hand tools and the ability to read blueprints. This role involves a variety of tasks including building, fabricating, and finishing structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards. There will be interior finishing as well as general framing. Preference will be given to candidates with drywall finishing experience as occasionally our project are two small to hire sub contractors

Responsibilities

• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various carpentry tasks.
• Perform construction estimating to assess project costs and materials needed.
• Execute caulking tasks for sealing joints and seams in structures.
• Engage in heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project completion on time.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Participate in construction painting as needed to finish projects.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, and materials.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in craftsmanship.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week
