General Carpenter / Apprentice
Job Description
The Carpenter is responsible for, and performs a wide variety of duties related to, including, but not limited to the following duties and responsibilities:
Be a team player
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Ability to work independently.
Operate a variety of hand and power tools of all types: hammer, drills, skill saws, jack hammer
Install of windows & doors, roof trusses, sheathing, hardware, tarping
Build weather and safety protection
Framing of walls and floors
Erect scaffolding and ladders
Build and install stairs
Ability to work with little or no supervision
Ability to read building plans is an asset
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship
Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
Experience:
Carpentry: 5 years (preferred)
Work Location: In person
