POSITION SUMMARY

To focus daily in a team environment on the production requirements and associated processes, taking into account the need to improve quality and efficiency

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Capable of utilizing production line machinery, tools and computers with minimal supervision Pneumatic stapler Glue Gun Scissors Hand-held scanner Video and Hearing Testing Booth Label Machine PC Blue stick Stuffing Station Execute each work-station at any time Familiarize yourself with Work Instructions within first month of employment Assemble components by reading and understanding Work Order Traveler Operate within standards set by approved work instructions Work within a team environment to meet departmental standards on a daily basis Maintain a clean and effective work area Positive attitude Good attendance Adhere to company policy Mark identifying information on parts Communicate with operators from other departments as needed Upkeep and maintain high level of 5S in and outside of the work area, etc. MUST pass Ishihara color blind test to judge shade/color Able to perform cycle counts Ad hoc projects as assigned by management

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

1-3 Years of work experience in a fast-paced production environment
Good work ethics, team player, well attentive and able to adjust the workload (overtime etc.)

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or equivalent required
Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required
Basic computer knowledge

WORKING CONDITIONS

Able to stand for long periods of time often doing repetitious motions Comfortable using pneumatic and electric tools Work in variable temperature

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (Typically less than 25 Pounds) Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds
