Red Ram Truck Parts & Service is an Alberta family-owned business that has been in operation since 1978. At Red Ram, we strive to be the industry leader in providing quality heavy duty truck parts and services to owner-operators, small/medium sized fleets and large multi-national corporations.

The Opportunity

We are currently looking to add a Gear Shop Technician to our industry leading service, rebuilding and maintenance team.

What Will You Do

Clean and Disassemble differentials and transmissions. Conduct routine inspections to proactively identify and resolve mechanical problems. Complete full rebuilds of used differentials and transmissions. Build drivetrain stock for our inventory and sales teams. Accurately document, diagnose and repair issues within estimated times. Keep your assigned work orders updated with the details of all work performed and parts used accurately and efficiently. Work safely while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Who You Are

You have a passion for all things mechanical. You likely have hands-on experience working with gears, transmissions and differentials. You love working with your hands and don't mind getting those hands dirty. You're comfortable using hand tools and power tools, but are pretty tech-savvy as well. You're confident and comfortable working independently, but also enjoy being part of a team. You're a proverbial "sponge" who enjoys absorbing knowledge from industry experts. You understand that asking for help when needed, and also sharing your knowledge with others, are essential pillars to an effective workplace.
