NOTE: This job is for the duration of Westerner Days. Orientation will also be held prior to Westerner Days commencing.

SUMMARY

The Gate Cashier is a key member of the Ticketing and Entertainment Team. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, a professional image and the ability to provide exceptional guest experience to every guest we serve.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direction of the Tickets Alberta Manager, the Tickets Alberta-Gate Cashier is responsible for the following:

Delivering an above-average guest experience each, and every time

Conduct in-person ticket sales at the Gates on Westerner Park grounds, using Clover payment system.

Use ticket scanners to scan RAD passes for Gate Admission

Maintaining a positive and proactive approach to ticketing activities with a strong commitment to providing superior guest experiences

Managing cash and payment processing procedures

Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS

Superior customer service skills and prior experience is a strong asset

Cash handling experience preferred

Computer skills

Various shifts - days, evenings and weekends.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

May work in a gate booth or standing in the pedestrian access gate

WAGE: $15.00 per hour
