Tasks

Direct and control daily operations Evaluate daily operations Plan and organize daily operations Manage staff and assign duties Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages Supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.) Sell merchandise Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters Order merchandise Establish work schedules Authorize payments by cheque Authorize return of merchandise Assign sales workers to duties Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers Organize and maintain inventory Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
