Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Gas Station Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the gas station. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs in a friendly manner. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including fuel pumps, convenience store area, and restrooms. Stock shelves and merchandise products effectively to enhance sales opportunities. Conduct product demonstrations and provide information on promotions to encourage upselling. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Requirements

Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences for customers. Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual candidates are preferred. Experience in retail sales or technical sales is a plus, along with familiarity with merchandising techniques. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Proficiency in using POS systems and technology-related sales tools. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a busy environment. Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace. Previous experience in cashiering or cash handling is beneficial. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn about products and services offered at the gas station.
