Gas Fitter
Job Description
AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring an experienced Journeyman Gas Fitter for an upcoming assignment in Central Ontario. This position will require you to work 12 hour shifts, 5 days per week when assigned to a project.
$65.00 per hour before overtime
$30 per day non-taxed meal allowance (when lodging is required)
Paid Travel (up to 4 hours)
Hotel Accommodations Provided (when required)
Skills & Qualifications:
Ontario Gas Fitter Class 1 license required.
Ability to read schematics
Basic computer skills - Windows
Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems in a timely manner
Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with a Heat Treat operation
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
Ability to work as part of a team with other trades
Fluent command of the English language (both written and verbal)
