Gas Bar Manager - Red River Co-op
Selkirk, ManitobaOn behalf of our client, Red River Co-op, we are currently recruiting for a Gas Bar Manager at the Red River Co-op in Selkirk, Manitoba. Reporting to the Gas Bar Operations Manager, the Gas Bar Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of tasks and be accountable for the oversight and management of the Gas Bar, Convenience Store and Carwash.

  • Ensuring standards of the Gas Bar are met, including customer service, cleanliness, inventory control, rotation, and ordering.
  • Achieving financial results and budget objectives in the areas of sales, margins, expenses, and profits.
  • Communicating with the Environmental Supervisor to ensure compliance with all legal and environmental requirements.
  • Providing leadership and direction to employees in accordance with company policies, procedures, programs, and overall expectations.
  • Training, developing and motivating department staff while fostering a positive work environment that encourages engagement.
  • Resolving any issues that may arise while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Carrying out merchandising duties, while complying with brand standards, according to the Operations Manager\'s directions.
You and Your Experience:
  • 3+ years of management experience in a high-paced retail and/or customer service environment.
  • Post-secondary education, related to business management or training and development would be considered an asset.
  • You have an aptitude for marketing, leadership, bookkeeping, maintaining image standards, human resources, and strong merchandising techniques.
  • You possess strong leadership qualities and are skilled at building a collaborative team.
  • You have a natural affinity for welcoming our members to the site while embracing an inclusive environment for employees.
  • Strong attention to detail time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Above-average interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • You are an honest, trustworthy, results-oriented individual who strives to be the best in what you do.
