What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

The Gas Bar Manager will be responsible for coaching, training, scheduling and leading team members while making safety a top priority in carrying out daily job duties.

  • Lead day-to-day operations of the department in providing quality products and services
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with guests and team members
  • Provide direction and leadership toward building an ongoing positive and highly motivated team
  • Administrative procedures such as scheduling and budgeting etc.
  • Merchandising and inventory control
  • General housekeeping and maintenance duties
  • Operate cash register and other equipment as required
  • Attend and actively participate in commodity, leadership, and safety meetings
  • Directly responsible for team member relations, including hiring, training and development and performance management
  • Provide leadership in the areas of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S)
  • Contribute and lead the Team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Customer Service Management and:
  • You have previous leadership experience as a manager/supervisor, preferably in the fuel industry and/or Co-Operative Retailing System
  • You are familiar with margin management, creative merchandising and delivering results and are known to be organized and capable of motivating and developing direct reports
  • You are honest and trustworthy, result-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
  • You demonstrate strong leadership, communication and management skills
  • Must be available 7 days a week to work between early mornings, afternoons and late evenings as some locations starts very early in the morning
  • This position is based out of Ross Road Gas Bar, though it may require on some occasions to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
