DATE: November 17, 2023 JOB TITLE: Garnish Mixer, Prepared Foods Shift B JOB GRADE: Grade 3 (Full Time) GRADE RANGE: $19.90 \xe2\x80\x93 $21.95 per Hour
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
o Follow JHA\xe2\x80\x99s and work safely. o Must be able to work shifts on a rotating basis o Interpret mixing formulas - Weighing, Mixing and blending of ingredients to recipe. o Cleaning and Sanitation of equipment. Maintaining a neat work area, as well as a daily housekeeping report of the area o Responsible for identification and reporting of product quality issues. o Dealing with production issues, working in a fast-paced team environment o Work in wet and temperature controlled environment (between 5 and 8 C) o Participate in Team meetings as required. o Complete core curriculum E-learning courses o Responsible for following all safety requirements. o Material handling of 25 kg boxes. o Documentation of ingredient codes, ingredient temperatures and tracking of finished garnish o Responsible for timing out garnish to ensure shift completion or change over. o Responsible for following change over policy and requirements. o Trouble shoot, adjust and maintain equipment as required. o Must follow \xe2\x80\x9cGood Manufacturing Practices\xe2\x80\x9d (GMP\xe2\x80\x99s) and Critical Control Points (CCP\xe2\x80\x99s). o Ensure QCDSME targets are met by understanding and goal setting of KPI\xe2\x80\x99s. o Relay information to other Team members as an area Lead (Key Area Resource). o All additional duties as they become assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: o Grade 12 education or GED o Basic computer skills would be an asset o Must be able to work shift work including weekend with minimal supervision o Ability to work well with plant supervision and production employees o Team player with excellent attendance o Successful completion of 90 day training period o Ability to accept and embrace change in the day to day operations o Must have good mathematical skills and complete production forms accurately and neatly o Must be self motivated with an excellent attendance record and able to work well in a team environment. o Some lifting is required of approximately 25 lbs o Ability to learn to perform some autonomous maintenance activities (inspection, lubrication etc)
