We are a well established gardening company involved in garden design, garden renovations and maintenance. We work primarily in Oak Bay and are looking for LONG TERM, full time help with room for advancement.
Job description
Efficiency, physical strength and stamina as well as a desire to work outdoors and learn about plants is important. Gardening experience is preferred, but we are happy to train.
Duties Include:
Mulching garden beds
Moving loads of soil
Weeding, deadheading, trimming
Digging over soil, digging out stumps, etc.
Plant installation
Operating lawn mower, gas trimmer
Qualities of Applicant:
Willing to take direction, be respectful and have a positive attitude
Physical strength and stamina is required
Strong work ethic, energetic, punctual
Attention to detail, pride in a job well done
Avid interest in learning about plants and their care
Enjoys working outdoor, being part of a team
Class 5 driver's license is an asset
Salary Details
:
Starting wage determined by experience
Wage raises awarded by performance
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
