During the christmas rush, we create porch pots, live wreaths, and centrepieces, while maintaining a beautiful retail collection of seasonal decor.

The position: Our garden centre sales associates are first and foremost customer-centric. With previous sales and customer service experience, you are excited to join an established team, where you assist with sales, merchandising and overall cleanliness of the sales floor.

Skills and Responsibilities:

Experience operating a POS register, and able to cash out clients efficiently and correctly

Passionate about problem solving and finding the correct solution for our client

Able to consistently lift items (30 to 50 lbs.) kneel/bend for periods of time working both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

Willingness learn about and assist in the overall cleaning and maintenance of plant stock, hard goods and home decor

A positive attitude team player, demonstrating integrity, and capable of building exceptional relationships

Takes initiative, constantly contributes without being asked

This opportunity can be a mix of part or full time, depending upon the candidate. Longer term pathways can include formal training through the Provincial 441C Horticulture Apprenticeship Program and tuition offsets.

Pay: $18.50-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
