We're a local, family-owned company that's been serving Greater Victoria for over 40 years. We install and service commercial overhead doors, rolling steel doors, parkade gates, and related equipment. Our team is known for quality work, safety, and treating customers--and each other--with respect.

We're looking for an

experienced Commercial Install & Service Technician

to join our crew.

What You'll Be Doing

Install, service, and troubleshoot

commercial overhead doors, operators, and gate systems

Work on parkade doors, rolling steel/fire doors, and other commercial door systems Diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete safety and code checks Read and follow job plans, drawings, and work orders Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Communicate clearly with the office, project managers, and customers Complete job notes and basic paperwork/tablet entries (ServiceTitan or similar) Work safely at heights, on ladders, lifts, and in various weather conditions
What We're Looking For

Required:

Minimum 2 years experience as a commercial overhead door technician

Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools and equipment Proven experience with installs, service, and troubleshooting in commercial settings Safety-first mindset and familiarity with jobsite safety practices Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team

Valid driver's license

and a good driving record

Assets (nice to have):

Experience with

rolling steel/fire doors, parkade gates, and access systems

Experience with

ServiceTitan

or other field/job management software Lift tickets, fall protection, WHMIS, or other safety certifications Basic electrical/low-voltage troubleshooting skills
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
