Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who can be trained to work on their own and is also comfortable working with a partner. Training is provided on the job. Preference given to experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of garage doors and openers. This role requires a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties

Install new garage doors and openers according to manufacturer specifications and safety guidelines. Perform routine maintenance checks and repairs on existing garage doors and systems. Troubleshoot issues with garage door mechanisms, including springs, cables, tracks, and openers. Ensure all installations meet local building codes and safety standards. Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and recommendations. Maintain an organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition. Document all service calls, repairs, and installations accurately.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools such as drills, wrenches, and saws for installation and repair tasks. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to garage door systems. Experience in construction-related tasks such as building, welding, plumbing, restoring, carpentry, caulking, drywall installation, or construction painting is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Excellent communication skills for customer interaction and teamwork. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
