JOB SUMMARY

NOTE: We are hiring 2 positions: 1 permanent position and 1 temporary position ending on or before June 21, 2024.

Reporting to the Manager, Gaming Revenue, the Gaming Revenue Analyst is responsible for identifying, analyzing and correcting system data anomalies to ensure accurate invoice generation through established processes. The Analyst ensures that the terminals in the Slot and VLT network are balanced and maintain AGLC integrity standards by performing required calculations, verifications, reconciliations, adjustments. The Analyst contributes to the integrity and accuracy of the gaming revenue processes and ensures that the unit is able to invoice record and disburse gaming revenue accurately and on time.

This role would communicate with operators and retailers to provide gaming revenue related information, answer general accounting inquiries and complete various administrative duties.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to organize and prioritize your work, this includes being able to manage your time to meet deadlines and changing work priorities. The ability to work independently, as well as a part of a team is also essential, as is the ability to provide accurate data entry. Good communication skills are required to deal with a variety of stakeholders at many different levels with both diplomacy and tact.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience within an accounting/reconciliation environment
  • Additional post-secondary accounting courses are considered an asset
  • Knowledge of the Gaming and Liquor Act and Regulations is an asset
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel is desirable
