We are looking for a Scorekeeper (Stats and Game Leads) to accurately track game statistics and manage in-game operations. The ideal candidate has prior experience in basketball scorekeeping, is detail-oriented, and can efficiently track stats using a scoresheet or digital platform.This role is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the basketball industry while working in an energetic, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

:

Operate the score clock and shot clock or accurately track the score and record game statistics for middle and highschool basketball games using a scorekeeping app Maintain clear communication with Scorekeeper partner, referees, coaches, and other event staff to ensure accurate game records and fair play Execute "Player of the Game" / Team photos and coordinate with the Marketing Team Assist in setting up and cleaning the court between games Quickly clean any spills or liquids on the court to maintain player safety Notify the team when ice or other medical assistance is required on the court Report directly to the Site Manager, providing updates on game operations and any issues that arise Call out in-game plays to assist the Stats Lead in accurately tracking player statistics (e.g., "Shot missed by #3, shot made by #4, foul on #3" etc.)

Qualifications:

Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong understanding of basketball rules and gameplay. Effective communication and leadership abilities. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy. Ability to manage and interact with referees, coaches, and players. Basic photography skills for capturing game-related images. Ability to work independently and make timely decisions.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
